Hleb為何選背號13號

原來本來Hleb可以接下皮雷的7號的號碼，因為土耳其的加拉塔薩雷差點就真的把老皮
給簽去，後來老皮改變心意，所以Hleb在拿不到七號的情形下，選擇拿十三號。

拿不到lucky 7，就變成拿十三號，好極端....不過Hleb說他不在意，因為他不認為13是
不利的號碼。

Arsenal new boy Alexander Hleb has revealed that team-mate Robert Pires came
very close to quitting Highbury earlier in the summer for a move to Turkey.

Hleb joined The Gunners from Stuttgart in a reported 10 million deal and
believed he was to be handed the number seven shirt at Highbury that Pires
has made his own over the past few seasons.

With the French star unable to agree a contract extension, he was tipped to
move on with both Internazionale and Galatasaray interested.

Hleb has now claimed that the Turkish giants were very close to agreeing a
deal for Pires.

However, that has now collapsed and Pires has committed himself to The
Gunners, meaning Hleb has had to settle for the number 13 shirt.

"That (seven) is the number worn by Pires, but he was planning to go to
Turkey," Hleb stated.

"I was told the chances of his transfer were very high, but it fell through
so I chose number 13 instead.

"I'm not one of those who thinks it's an unlucky number."
