Reyes waits on Real switch

Arsenal's Jose Antonio Reyes says he does not know whether he will complete
his move to Real Madrid before the transfer window closes.

The Spain international forward trained with The Gunners on Thursday
expecting to hear the latest news on his possible switch after the practice.

However, Reyes remains an Arsenal player despite the club agreeing a deal
with Real that would see Julio Baptista move to The Emirates Stadium.

"I have just finished training and I still know nothing," Reyes told
www.marca.es.

"If it was true that everything is done it would be a dream come true but I
told my agent not to call me until it was all done and as he has not called
me it has not been done.

"I am an optimist. It would be best for everyone if it was done quickly."

Meanwhile, Reyes has attempted to play down a potential rift with Atletico
Madrid fans by stating Real were always his first choice.

"My desire is for everything to be sorted out as soon as possible and to play
for Real Madrid," he continued.

"It's the dream for any footballer. Atletico fans should not feel betrayed. I
spoke to them but I did not give them my word."
