Fabrice and his family arrived in England in 1999 after fleeing war-torn
Congo. Nicknamed 'Fabulous', he was spotted playing school football by
Gunners scouts. After impressing during trials, Muamba was signed on a
youth contract in 2004.

Since then, he has gone on to represent England at U16 and U17 levels,
impressing with his workrate and tough approach to the game.

Has been compared to Patrick Vieira due to his appearance and style of
play - and seems to be on the way to emulating his idol.

In his own words: "People have always said I remind them of Patrick Vieira.
I suppose it is because of the way I try to play and that I am tall. I take
that as a massive compliment because Patrick is the player that I try to
base my game on, the player I have admired more than any other for years."
