Azzurrini debut for Lupoli

Arsenal striker Arturo Lupoli, on loan at Derby, is one of 11 new names in
Pierluigi Casiraghi's Italy U-21 squad for next week’s friendly against
Luxembourg.

The Azzurrini will play at Vibo Valentia on Tuesday and the 20 players chosen
by the Coach are scheduled to meet up on Sunday evening.

The tactician has opted for an experimental squad and 19-year-old Lupoli, who
currently plays in the Coca Cola Championship, is one of several players
winning their maiden U-21 call-up.

Promising Juventus youngsters Paolo De Ceglie and Claudio Marchisio, as well
as Raffaele De Martino of Udinese and Valerio Virga of Roma, are among the
debutants.

Empoli defender Lino Marzoratti had already been included once in the squad,
but has never actually had a chance to play with the Azzurrini outfit.

Goalkeepers: Curci (Roma), Padelli (Crotone)

Defenders: Andreolli (Inter), Canini (Cagliari), Criscito (Genoa), Marzoratti
(Empoli), Motta (Udinese), Pisano (Cagliari)

Midfielders: Abate (Modena), Bentivoglio (Modena), De Ceglie (Juventus), De
Martino (Udinese), Defendi (Atalanta), Marchisio (Juventus), Virga (Roma)

Strikers: Lupoli (Derby County), Paolucci (Ascoli), Paonessa (Vicenza), Pozzi
(Empoli), Russotto (Treviso)

能入選對盧森堡的友誼賽不容易，Lupoli要把握住機會啊。
