Robert Pires could have played his last game for Arsenal after speculation
intensified that he could be heading for a Serie A club this summer.
The 32-year-old has already been linked with a transfer to Valencia after
talks about a new Gunners contract stalled.
ROBERT PIRES However, reports suggest Italian giants Juventus and
Internazionale have joined the race to sign the former France international.
Pires' current Arsenal deal expires in June 2006, but the FA Cup winners are
unwilling to offer him a two-year extension.
Pires, who scored 17 goals last season, is reported to have told his advisors
that he is ready to end his five-year association with the club.
He has scored 55 goals in 156 Premiership appearances for the Gunners since
moving to Highbury in a ￡6million deal from Marseille.
