Pires wants to commit future

Robert Pires wants to commit his future to Arsenal and sign a new deal.
The 31-year-old has just over a year left on his current deal at Highbury but
he is now looking to extend that further.
The Gunners have never been keen on handing huge deals to players in their
30s and a two-year offer is likely to be the best the Frenchman can expect.
"I would like to stay here. It doesn't depend entirely on me though, it is up
to Arsene Wenger and [vice-chairman] David Dein," said Pires.
"We'll sit down soon and sort something out, I'm sure."
