要耐心點，不要只想著打著華麗的足球，結果反而因為對手快攻而失球。
Le Bob繼續說，對PSV時槍手已經有進步，即使對方擺明就是要退到半場打防守，
槍手也不會像過去一樣一昧打壓迫式的進攻，而是耐心的傳球導球，等待機會。
這樣做雖然會讓大家不適應，因為畢竟大家都習慣英超的快節奏，但是有耐
心的打法，是讓槍手不再重蹈過去錯誤的途徑。

Let's be two-faced, says honest Pires

While it comes as no surprise that Robert Pires should know how to improve
Arsenal's often indifferent Champions League form his solution may alarm
those seeking greater transparency in the way footballers deal with the
media. Arsenal, says Pires, must be more "two-faced".
What's this? Less honesty and more double dealing in football? Well Pires
is adamant this is the only way forward for Arsenal. "For us to succeed
in Europe we need to have two faces," he said. "That is essential if we
are going to progress."
It will come as a relief to many at the club that he's talking football
strategy rather than public relations. While he loves performing in the
silky-smooth attacking unit, he believes there must be a switch of
emphasis from the creative to the cunning when it comes to Europe -
starting tomorrow when Arsenal meet Rosenborg in Trondheim.
"It is wonderful when we play open, attacking football, like we do in the
championship in England," he said. "But we have to show we've learned the
lessons of previous seasons. We cannot afford to go all-out to win at all
costs. We need to be impitoyable. In English you say ruthless. If the other
team just want to be defensive, then we must not panic. We must play with
the head, not the heart.
"PSV were like that against us two weeks ago at Highbury. Maybe in previous
years we would have shown panic because we did not score early. Everyone
would have gone forward and wanted to score. That is what happened against
Inter Milan a year ago . . . and we were beaten 3-0.
"Against PSV, we were against a team who were interested only in defending.
So we had to show patience. We waited for the opening and we got the goal.
"Even then, PSV did not come out so we had to be careful and stay calm. If
we had been too offensive, we could have conceded a goal in a counter-attack.
But now, I sense, we are more mature. We have found out over the last four
years since I have been at Arsenal what you need to be successful in
the Champions League.
"You have to be more thoughtful and take your time, not go on all-out
attack. It will be the same in Norway. We know it will be cold in the
stadium and that Rosenborg will be a disciplined, physical side.
"If they want to play defensively we must not just attack and attack and
leave ourselves open. Maybe it is not a spectacle to watch but we have to
do what is necessary. You have to go, first, for the result and I feel
among the players that we have learned a lot from the disappointments of
recent years."
Pires, arguably, had his best game of the season for Arsenal against the
Dutch when a 1-0 win was enough to give the European campaign a winning start.
He is the first to admit his true form was well hidden early on.
"Maybe the long break after the European Championship was one of the
reasons," said Pires. "But whatever the cause, I wasn't playing as well
as I can. It is also hard to come straight back into the rhythm of the
Premiership. It is so fast and you have to get used to it over again.
But I knew I had the confidence of the manager and, in the last few games,
I felt I am playing how I know I can play. I feel more at ease."
It wasn't only at Arsenal that the 30-year-old was struggling to find his
touch. His new manager at international level, Raymond Domenech, left
Pires out of his initial selections, much to the player's dismay.
"Playing for Arsenal and for France are both very important to me," said
Pires. Word spread that Pires was even contemplating retiring from
international football to follow the lead set by Chelsea's Claude Makelele,
who was so disillusioned by Domenech's selection policy he decided the
only blue he would wear from now on had the crest of a lion and not a
cockerel.
"No, I still very much want to play for my country," said Pires. "I
want to help them to qualify for the World Cup finals. I want to play
my part."
If there were lingering doubts, however, that Domenech wanted to include
Pires in his plans to reach Germany in two years' time, they were erased
in a friendly chat in Arsene Wenger's office after the recent 2-2 draw
with Bolton.
The France manager followed the trend set by his predecessors Roger
Lemerre and Jacques Santini by checking on Arsenal's French players as
often as his schedule allowed. He took advantage of the hospitality
offered by compatriot Wenger to talk for an hour with Pires, Thierry
Henry and Patrick Vieira.
"He assured me he still had faith in me, and that I had a part to play
for France," said Pires. "He knows how important the French team are
to me and we had a good discussion. It was all very calm - no fighting!"
With his form back and his international future secure, Pires can now
look forward to glory in Europe with a team better equipped than ever
to handle the Champions League.
"Time to show our other face," said Pires. The performance in Trondheim
will, he feels, show just how much Arsenal have learned.
