Cygan hints at Highbury exit
Cygan 暗示可能離開 Highbury.
Arsene Wenger could face a defensive crisis following the news that Pascal
Cygan wants to leave Arsenal.
Arsenal 教練 Wenger 在聽到 Cygan 的說法後也許要開始擔心後防上隱藏的危機.
Kolo Toure's emergence as a central defender has kept Cygan out of the picture
at Highbury, though Lauren's recent suspension has let him back in.
因為 Lauren 面臨四場禁賽, 使得 Cygan 能重回 Arsenal 的陣型中,
Toure 本賽季在中衛位置上的長足進步使得相同位置上的 Cygan 漸被 Wenger 棄用
"I am thinking about leaving Arsenal," Cygan conceded.
" 我的確在仔細思考離開 Arsenal 的可能性 ", Cygan 如此說.
"I have been playing recently and this suits me, but I am very sceptical about
the situation remaining the same once Lauren is back."
最近這幾場先發令我感到愉快, 這才是我來到這邊的目的, 但我非常懷疑在 Lauren 禁賽
期滿歸隊後我是不是還能繼續保有我的位置.
The 29-year-old defender has been linked with a return to his former club,
Lille.
29 歲的法國人有可能會回到先前所效力的法國球會 Lille.
Paris St Germain and Bastia are also said to be interested in the central
defender.
PSG 與 Bastia 也表示對這位中衛感到有興趣.
