Liverpool have completed the signing of Birmingham City winger Jermaine
Pennant.
The 23-year-old has penned a four-year deal at Anfield after the two clubs
agreed a deal - believed to be in the region of ￡6 million.
Pennant becomes Liverpool's fifth signing of the summer following the
arrivals of Craig Bellamy, Mark Gonzalez, Fabio Aurelio and Gabriel Paletta.
The former Arsenal star will now be in line to make his Reds debut in their
friendly with Kaiserslautern on Saturday, before which he will link up with
the rest of the squad in Switzerland - where they are currently holding a
training camp.
