Wenger opposes racism walk-offs

Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger does not believe his side's Champions
League tie against PSV Eindhoven should be called off if there is
racist chanting.
Referee Herbert Fandel had said he may abandon Wednesday's game if
the abuse that marred England's friendly in Spain last week is
repeated.
But Wenger said: "If you say to people you will cancel if they cause
trouble, maybe some will try to do that.
"The referee is boss and we do what he says, but I still think it's
wrong."
He added: "If you're at home and your team is losing, then the racism
chants could come out. When could you finish a game?
"To me, it doesn't look to be a solution with any reasonable outcome.
We have a job to entertain people who pay to watch the game."
Fandel earlier made it clear calling the game off was a possibility
after Fifa president Sepp Blatter said he would have backed England's
players for walking off in Madrid.
He said: "Racism cannot be tolerated in football and maybe a last
resort is to stop the game.
"I've read about what happened (in Spain) and Sepp Blatter's
comments.
"We all have to stick together on this issue - Fifa and the referees'
organisations have to be together."
Arsenal's players have been the subject of racist abuse from the
PSV crowd in previous European encounters.
