Footballer in court to deny rape
Graham Stack, 23, an Arsenal goalkeeper who is currently on loan to
Millwall, pleaded "not guilty" to the charge at Croydon Crown Court.
Allan Smillie, 23, from Feltham, west London, denied two counts of
sexual assault on the woman in Beckenham, south-east London on 1
September 2004.
The men were granted conditional bail ahead of the trial on 19 September.
Mr Stack, who played a number of games in north London club Arsenal's
Carling Cup campaign last season, also denies sexually assaulting the woman.
