Henry fears blame if Gunners fail

Thierry Henry believes he will be blamed if Arsenal fail to qualify for
the next stage of the Champions League.
Henry will captain the side in place of the suspended Patrick Vieira as
the Gunners seek the required victory over Rosenborg at Highbury on
Tuesday.
And the striker said: "If we don't win and we go out of the competition,
like it or not, it's going to be my fault. That's the way it is.
"If the team don't win I know I will be criticised, no matter how I play."
Henry said he was not surprised by criticism of his performance in Arsenal's
recent Premiership defeat at the hands of Liverpool.
"Everyone gave me stick during the week. Fair enough, that's the game,"
he added.
"But people should look at how many games I play during the season and
how many of them are bad.
"Seventeen goals this season? It's not enough. For the critics and for me.
"My dad always used to say to me that whatever I do is not enough so I
don't mind when others say that."
Teenager Cesc Fabregas and 20-year-old Mathieu Flamini are set to start
against Rosenborg, with Vieira serving a ban for his red card against PSV.
Vieira said: "I am confident in the great players we have in the squad
to come into the team and do a great job.
"When we have Edu and Gilberto out as well it is not ideal. Still, this
club and I personally are strong enough to deal with setbacks.
"It is one of the great things about Arsenal that we have the strength
and spirit to show courage in the face of adversity."
