在'02年從AJAX來的Quincy跟今年簽下的帊馬前鋒Lupoli，好像在預備隊的比賽中，
兩人搭當的還不錯。

...on the performance
"It was a good, spirited performance. It was unfortunate that Johan
was sent off and maybe the decision was a bit harsh, but maybe the
ref thought he had to give it because their player was through on goal.
It is the law of the land. Even with 10 men we did ever so well in
the second half. Ipswich didn't have any real clear-cut chances,
maybe a few scrapes, we had a few breakaways which we planned, and
in the end we got the second goal and looked comfortable after that.
I was very pleased."
...on his tactics after Djourou's red card
"We decided to go with two banks of four and one up. We kept Arturo
[Lupoli] on, I was thinking about maybe changing one of the front
players, but they give us so many good options going forward so I
stuck with them for as long as they could last."
...on Quincy and Lupoli's partnership
"With their pace they frighten anyone and they worked ever so hard
for the team. With those kinds of players, teams are always going
to be aware of their pace and it worked a treat tonight. They are
two good, young players and it's up to them how far they take their
careers. They're working hard, they're working at their games and
I think they're getting their just reward for the work they are
putting in from Monday to Friday on the training pitch."
...on Quincy's improvement
"I think he's matured as a player. The penny is dropping with Quincy,
he's getting some success and he's realising what the game is all
about. He's been watching the first team and has seen what they do
and the penny is dropping. He's got a lot of ability and he's
harnessing that ability to become a player. Last year he did a lot
of stepovers but now he's learning when and when not to do his stuff.
Hopefully he can go on from here."
...on centre back Olafur Ingi Skulason
"I think he likes playing in there. He's quite versatile, he will
do a job wherever you put him and he's a great lad. He works his
socks off, he gives you 100% and it's players like him that you
hope go on and have a career."
...on his relationship with the players
"I've had these players all the way through from when they first
joined the Club so they know me and I know them. They want to work
really hard and it's a pleasure to work with them."
