看到一篇衛報講些花絮趣聞，擷取一段給大家看：

OLD ENOUGH TO BE YOUR FATHER

"Cesc Fabregas is linking up really well with Dennis Bergkamp,
 a man old enough to be his father," says Rob Coke. "What is
the greatest age difference between two team-mates in English
football?"

有人說Bergy(35歲)年紀大到快可以當Cesc(17歲)的老爸，
英國足史上有誰的年齡差距比這還大？

Cesc Fabregas (17) and Dennis Bergkamp (35) have been
dovetailing gloriously in Arsenal's storming start to the season.
 But they're nowhere near the record. In the absence of any cold,
 hard facts on the subject, we'll have to settle for a couple
of examples: during USA 94, Roger Milla (42) and the late
Marc-Vivien Foe (19) lined up alongside each other for Cameroon.
But no tale of old and young team-mates would be complete without
 the word 'Beasant': Big Dave (43) and Leighton Baines (17) both
took part in Wigan's LDV Vans Trophy defeat to Doncaster in
November 2002. If anyone can beat that 26-year gap, let us know.

作者好像一時找不到其他例子，找了個'94世界盃柯麥隆隊裡42歲的老將
搭配19歲的Foe(> <可惜他已經不在了)同在國家隊的例子，還有另一個例子更誇張，
一個四十三歲的配十七歲的，不過這隊名聽起來像是橄欖球隊。
