Arsenal teenage ace Cesc Fabregas scored a second-half winner to end Peter
Taylor's unbeaten record as England under-21 manager.
Fabregas, who came on at half-time, side-footed home a free kick at the
far post on 63 minutes.

England were reduced to 10 men with 20 minutes to go when acting captain
Glen Johnson was sent off.

The Chelsea defender picked up a second yellow card after disputing a
challenge on defender Nicky Hunt.


Spain's win was overshadowed by racist abuse directed at England trio
Johnson, Carlton Cole and Darren Bent and the Football Association is
set to send a letter of complaint to Uefa.

"I thought I heard something in the first half - it was a bit
disappointing," Taylor said.

"It happened when Carlton was running through towards the Spanish goal,
but I'll let the FA deal with it.

"We had a couple of chances and I didn't think they looked like scoring
until we'd gone down to 10 men," Taylor added. "Glen was a little
unfortunate."
