 FA set to rule out United 'dossier'   

 Manchester United have virtually no chance of getting Thierry Henry or
Dennis Bergkamp into the dock for their part in the 'Battle of Old Trafford
II'. Sir Alex Ferguson is demanding action against the Arsenal duo, who he
believes were guilty of serious foul play against Gabriel Heinze and Alan
Smith respectively during the stormy Premiership meeting between the pair
on October 24. The allegations will be made in an extensive dossier that
will be handed over to the Football Association in the middle of the week.

 Bergkamp backing van Persie   

 Dennis Bergkamp has predicted that Robin Van Persie will be a huge
Highbury hit. Van Persie scored a last-gasp equaliser to rescue Arsenal
from the jaws of defeat against Southampton on Saturday. The visitors
had looked certain to condemn Arsene Wenger's side to their second
consecutive Premiership defeat after a spirited fightback.

He's got no chance

ALEX FERGUSON has no chance of nailing Arsenal with his latest accusations,
says former Premiership referee Jeff Winter.

The Manchester United manager wants the FA to come down hard on Thierry
Henry and Dennis Bergkamp.

But Winter insists Henry’s clash with Gabriel Heinze was an accident —
while the injury-time clash between Bergkamp and Alan Smith was just one
of those things.

Winter said: “Some people want video evidence at football matches. But
even seven days on, some managers are digging stuff out. Sooner or later,
you have to let things lie.

“The Bergkamp and Henry incidents were right in front of the referee
and certainly don’t warrant any further action.

“It is clear Henry did not mean to hit Heinze while the Bergkamp-Smith
incident was nothing — completely different compared to Ruud van
Nistelrooy’s challenge on Ashley Cole. That was evil.”
