Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger has denied a charge of improper conduct
by the Football Association and requested a personal hearing.
Wenger was charged by the FA after hinting that Ruud van Nistelrooy
cheated during the Gunners' recent 2-0 defeat at Old Trafford.
Van Nistelrooy has served a three game ban after a challenge on
Ashley Cole in the game on 24 October.
Wenger also criticised referee Mike Riley following a fiery encounter.
Riley incurred the wrath of Wenger after awarding United a penalty
for Sol Campbell's challenge on Wayne Rooney.
Arsenal's defeat to their rivals ended the Highbury side's record
49-game unbeaten run and there was alleged tunnel incident after the
match.
United boss Sir Alex Ferguson was alleged to have been hit by food
thrown by an Arsenal player.
