Wenger not comparing past form

Arsene Wenger feels it is unfair to compare his side's stuttering form
in recent weeks with their record-breaking exploits of last season.
The Gunners have taken only six points from their last six League games.
But Wenger said: "You cannot look back at what happened last season
and use it as a reference for this year. You have to be realistic.
"Not losing a League game all season was exceptional so you can't
look at this season and say it is disastrous."
Wenger also insists he is paying no more attention to League leaders
Chelsea now than he did 12 months ago.
"Maybe they are a little bit stronger than they were last year but
only time will tell on that," he added.
"At the moment, I am not worried about having one more hard competitor.
If you look at the number of points we have lost and the teams we have
lost them against, the problems are on our side.
"Chelsea have always been there. I am much more concerned by us falling
below our usual standards and not having capitalised enough on the
opportunities we have had."
