Henry's fitness fight

Arsenal striker Thierry Henry is struggling to shake off an Achilles
injury ahead of Sunday's clash with Liverpool.
Henry aggravated the problem during Arsenal's 1-1 draw with PSV
Eindhoven in the UEFA Champions League on Wednesday evening.
The French forward is now undergoing treatment in his efforts to be
fit for the Premiership tussle at Anfield, after admitting his
Achilles complaint was made more serious in Eindhoven.
"Sometimes when you are in pain, you always get a kick on it and that
is what happened last night," lamented Henry.
Gunners boss Arsene Wenger has placed his talismanic hit-man in the
doubtful category for the crunch trip to Merseyside at the weekend.
"Thierry is 50-50 because he has a lot of blood in his calf," Wenger
told the club's official website.
"He was limping because he was kicked in the calf during the game."
Robin van Persie and Jose Antonio Reyes also picked up injuries in
Holland but Wenger is hopeful that the young duo, along with the
veteran Dennis Bergkamp, will be ready to face Liverpool.
He added: "Robin has a good chance to be fit. It is just bruising,
there is no twist in his knee.
"It is badly bruised but hopefully he should be okay. Reyes will be
fit and we will see about Dennis on Friday."
