Goals from Robert Pires, Jose Reyes and Thierry Henry helped Arsenal
to a comfortable victory over Dutch side Utrecht in Bad Waltersdorf.
Freddie Ljungberg was brought down in the 13th minute, and Pires scored
from the spot at the second attempt after the referee ordered a re-take.
Henry hit the post and Pires had an effort disallowed for offside before
substitute Reyes scored.
Emmanuel Eboue's cutback from the right found Henry for the third goal.
