日本本來在這週末會在世界二組聯邦盃比賽客場對壘斯洛文尼亞，
但由於最近冰島火山爆發導致歐洲航線大混亂，
本來禮拜天要出發的日本未能如期前往斯洛文尼亞，
所以日本網協要求申請延期，但暫時還沒看到官方正式淮予延期的消息。
Volcano forces Japan to seek Fed Cup postponement
TOKYO (AP)—The Japan Tennis Association has asked that its Fed Cup playoff
against Slovenia be postponed because of air travel disruptions caused by
Iceland’s volcanic eruption.
Japan is scheduled to face Slovenia in a Fed Cup promotion/relegation playoff
on April 24-25 in Maribor but asked the International Tennis Federation on
Monday to postpone the match.
Japan’s players had been scheduled to leave on Sunday.
Japan could return to the World Group II for the first time since 2008 with a
victory over Slovenia.
