" After finishing primary and secondary levels at Attavit School. I futhured my studies at Attavit Commercial School which significantly supported my love for sports. I stopped studying after graduating with Po Wo Cho 3 (pre- university) Certificate and joined a number of tennis tournaments. In fact, I had already started my tennis career during the 1st and 2nd years at commercial school I knew it would be tough to study at university and be a professional tennis player. My plan was therefore to try my best as a tennis professional for a couple of years and if I was not successful. I would return to University. However, this is the 2nd year of my professional tennis career, which is looking favorable, so I will continue with this career. " I started playing tennis when I was 6 years old after watching my two elder brothers( Thanakorn and Narathorn) playing which inspired me. Children and sports go along together well, since sports bring fun and new skills. My Dad also inspired me. At time I wanted to quit, but that was when I was 14-15, because of the different way of life I had, in comparison to my friends, who, after school, did as they wished, or went window shopping at department stores, while I went to a tennis court and practiced every day. At that age, I liked to be with my friends." " If I lose a match today, I don't feel so desperate, as I realized sometimes you may win or lose in a tournament. Sometimes, I Knew I was not responding correctly, but it didn't allow me time to recover. I always take it as a lesson and try to improve my game" " I have had a few impressive matches. The most impressive was my first title in the professional Long island tournament in USA. It fulfilled my wish to win as a professional player. But I want to go even further " to win the bigger tournament" a Grand Slam, for example. However, I know I need to practice more to win a tournament. You need to taken heart. Whoever performs better, will win that match. " Obstacles, We don't know what will happen in a tournament-an ankle sprain, weather and time adjustment. In an overseas tournament. I try to be there sometime in advance to allow my physical condition to adjust to to local climate. My Dad takes a longer time than me to adjust himself, because of age. Frequent trips will help us adjust ourselves better. " My original dream was to become a world top 50 or 100 tennis player, not top 20 or 10, but people around me want me to become No.1, or in the top five. I don't have that immediate ambition, but want to move forward gradually I don't want to pressure myself unnecessary. My aim today is to maintain my rank in the top 15 or 20 and if possible, in the top 10 that I became a couple of times. However, I'll do my best, depending on my physical fitness and conditions- a key factor Sufficient rest and strong, injury-free muscles will put me at an advantage over my competition. " In the future, I plan to venture into eastablishing a tennis sports club about 3-4 year from now. At the age of 29-30, I may have to let the next generation take over, depending on my physical fitness. Many other players quit tennis at 26-27, especially through various body injuries. I don't have pans to be a tennis coach, not because I don't like tennis, but I've been so much involved in it for so long, that I would appreciate a break from it. But if I getting marry and my children become tennis players, I may then become a coach, as my Dad is today. "Tennis is gaining greater popularity in Thailand, party because of me. Parents want their children to play tennis after watching my games, Sports can become our career if we're serious about it. Parents may want their children to play for physical exercise, or to meet additional friends and if a child looks promising, parents should continue to support them." -- -- ※ 發信站: 批踢踢實業坊(ptt.cc) ◆ From: 140.116.130.153 -- ※ 發信站: 批踢踢實業坊(ptt.cc) ◆ From: 118.167.169.109
