Other potential orders for the 747-8 passenger and cargo versions are under
discussion with Asian carriers including Cathay Pacific Airways and China
Airlines, which both have evaluations under way. The latter is understood to
be the closest to a decision, with a deal expected by year-end, while Cathay
Pacific is not expected to finalise its plans until early next year.

有點好奇的是, 華航要是年底真宣佈購買747-8, 並於2010開始交機左右,
那744改艙計畫還需要進行嗎?

另外,  對華航來說, 比較急迫的應該是那6 架A340 的汰換計畫‧
看到底要不要買787-9 or 一些航空公司要求開發的787-10(ER)?

中高運量的長程客機引進其實對華航未來新的次級航點開闢是很重要的‧
像布魯塞爾, 或預期半年內會開航的 TPE-KIX-LAX 其實都蠻好用的‧
