　　波音公司飛機計劃副總裁兼總經理夏納罕說，787夢幻客機準備於周末進行最後測試
，完成飛行準備，並將於月底前，進行第一次飛行。

　　 周二在巴黎航空展發表演說時，夏納罕說，周末最後測試後，很快就會進行滑行測
試，而後787將準備進行第一次飛行。

　　 第二架787飛機將於之後二到三周展開飛行。（鉅亨網）

Boeing 787 steps closer to first flight

Boeing has completed another phase of ground testing of its 787 Dreamliner,
which should be taking off any day now. (Boeing has said it would fly by July
1.)

The company said Monday that it has completed the "intermediate gauntlet"
test phase, in which the plane was put through its paces on the ground as if
the plane were flying. All the systems, including power and flight controls,
were run normally and through a series of failures.

The week of testing included hundreds of test conditions, Boeing said.

During the tests, the plane is operated just as if it were flying, complete
with pilots at the controls, working lavatories and meals served, writes
spokesman Randy Tinseth on his blog.

After "landing," crews clean the plane and prepare it for a new flight, with
new meals, he said.

"The team has done an incredible job supporting an exhaustive test regimen,"
Scott Fancher, vice president and general manager of the 787 program, said in
a statement. "I couldn't be more proud. We will continue to take a hard look
at the results, make adjustments and finish up our testing so we can get to
first flight."

Next, the team has to analyze results and perform "final gauntlet" testing.
