新加坡C-130運輸機攜帶救援物品及藥品抵台

S'pore offers Taiwan aid

SINGAPORE has offered US$200,000 on top of food and medical aid to help
typhoon victims in Taiwan.

A Republic of Singapore Air Force C-130 transport aircraft delivered S$50,000
worth of food and medical supplies to south Taiwan on Thursday. The donation
will be sent to Taiwan through the Singapore Red Cross Society.

'The Singapore Government has expressed its condolences and sympathy to the
victims of Typhoon Morakot and their families, and contributed US$200,000 for
humanitarian assistance,' the Singapore Trade Office in Taipei said in a
statement released on Thursday.

　莫拉克颱風重創南台灣，新加坡政府昨日除捐款二十萬美元，並致贈價值五萬元星幣的
食品與藥品，昨日上午已由星國空軍飛機送抵我國，這是我國接受的第一批外國救濟物資
。　新加坡政府昨日透過新加坡紅十字會捐款二十萬美元，並致贈價值五萬元星幣，約新
台幣一百一十四萬元的食品與藥品，已於昨日上午由星國空軍C│一三○運輸機送抵我國
。
　新加坡駐台北商務辦事處轉達新加坡政府對我國災民的慰問之意，台北商務辦事處代表
羅家良今天將利用新加坡國慶酒會機會，代表新加坡政府致贈捐款，將由外交部次長夏立
言代表接受。
