可開始用的是United, Delta, Iberia 航空公司.
下階段將是 BA, Virgin, Finnair.
過去也有在 維多利亞, 及帕丁頓火車站設立, 只是後來取消了.

Heathrow Express offers automated flight check-in at Paddington Station

Heathrow Express has launched today an automated check-in service for air
passengers using Paddington’s railway station in London.
The new facility offers better comfort to air travellers by cutting the
procedure time needed during check-in. Moreover, the automated machines at
the railway station can be used by passengers even before boarding the train
to Heathrow International Airport.
The self service, touchscreen machine is similar to the system currently used
in every UK airport, informed by a spokesman of Heathrow Express. It displays
all flights that will depart Heathrow in which air travellers select their
flight and then check-in as they would on a regular counter. After the
procedure, the machine will then generate the boarding card.
The service is the first of its type to be deployed in a UK railway station.
It is initially available for passengers flying with United Airlines, Delta
Air and Iberia Airlines. But other airlines like British Airways, Finnair and
Virgin Atlantic will soon follow the new scheme.
To date, automated check-in service is only offered by airlines. The new
system offered by Heathrow Express however covers all airlines flying from
Heathrow International Airport.
In the future, flight information display screens will be added to the
system. The units will be installed in the railway station to allow
passengers to check their flight’s status even before leaving central London.
Similar machines were installed in the past at Victoria and Paddington
stations, but were discontinued after few years. The new check-in machines
are currently located next to Heathrow Express’ ticket office.
