Delta將推遲787交機至2020年(延12年) OCTOBER 25, 2010, 2:47 P.M. ET.Delta Air Lines To Receive First Of 18 Boeing 787s In 2020 By Doug Cameron Of DOW JONES NEWSWIRES Delta Air Lines Inc. (DAL) said Monday that it will take delivery of the first of 18 Boeing 787s in 2020, ending long-running uncertainty over the fate of the order. The second-largest U.S. carrier by traffic inherited the order when it acquired Northwest Airlines, and has been in talks with Boeing Co. (BA) about the planes' fate following protracted delays in the aircraft's entry into service. Delta said in a regulatory filing that it had reached a deal to reaffirm the order for the 787-8 variant for delivery from 2020 to 2022. They were originally slated to arrive between 2008 and 2010. All Nippon Airways Co. (ALNPY, 9202.TO) is due to receive the first 787 in February 2011, almost three years late. Continental Airlines, a unit of United Continental Holdings Inc. (UAL), is the U.S. launch customer for the plane, with the first of its 25 due to arrive in the second half of next year. http://online.wsj.com/article/BT-CO-20101025-712304.html ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~` Delta defers Dreamliner order by 12 years By Dominic Gates, McClatchy-Tribune News Service October 26, 2010 8:14 AM Be the first to post a comment Delta Air Lines has deferred its order for 18 Boeing 787 Dreamliners until 2020 at the earliest. In the end, the airline may never take the 787 at all.Photograph by: Ben Stansall, Getty ImagesSEATTLE - Delta Air Lines has pushed out its order for 18 Boeing 787 Dreamliners by a dozen years, the airline disclosed in a regulatory filing Monday. The deferral - until 2020 at the earliest - could mean that in the end Delta may never take the 787 at all. The order was originally placed by Northwest Airlines in 2005 and inherited by Delta when it acquired Northwest in 2008. In the filing, Delta said that during the last quarter it negotiated with Boeing new terms for the order, deferring deliveries from the period 2008-2010 until 2020-202-. "A 2020 commitment is essentially meaningless," said Richard Aboulafia, aviation consultant with the Teal Group. By 2020 or 2022, Boeing will have rolled out its next new airplane - likely a revamped 777 or all-new replacement - and Delta will have the option to switch its Dreamliner order to that model. The merger left Delta as the largest airline in the world, with a massive mixed fleet of different airplane models. In the category of 787-size airplanes, it already flies 70 Boeing 767s and 32 Airbus A330s. "They’ve got this incredibly complicated fleet as a result of the merger. They have no interest in growing," said Aboulafia. "I’m sure they’ll be interested to see what else is on offer (from Boeing) by 2020." The original Northwest order for the Dreamliners also included options to purchase 50 more of the jets. The new filing shows Delta no longer has any options for additional 787s. Delta also said it has agreed to sell to another airline the four new Boeing 737-800s it has on order as soon as those aircraft are delivered to them. http://www.vancouversun.com/travel/Delta+defers+Dreamliner+order+years/ 3727976/story.html ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ 這批18架787-8的配額大概馬上又要在市場上叫賣了吧. 可惜華航長榮應該沒興趣. -- 航空/鐵道/都市資料找不到?
