Spock是一隻蛋。綠色、尖頭的龍蛋。



他不是普通的龍蛋。他是火龍之子。他來自熔漿流淌的火山口。當他半淹沒在熾熱的熔岩

下時有人從龍巢裡偷走了他，將他帶到一個清涼的洞窟裡孵化。



Spock對此沒有什麼怨言。鑒於他的父母在他出生不久就雙雙拋棄了他，在哪裡破殼都是

一樣的。固然，這裡的溫度較低，將延長他孵化的時間，但是有Jim的陪伴，那麼一切都

可以忍受。

是的，Jim。



Spock認為Jim簡直是這個世界上最不合邏輯的龍蛋了。他是草原龍種，蛋殼卻呈奇異的深

金色。他又圓又結實，活潑好動——令人驚訝嗎？但是龍蛋確實會自己移動的。雖然並不

快，而且大多數時候他們懶得如此。



但是Jim不然。他總是在洞窟中溜溜達達，咕嚕嚕地滾來滾去。當然最後他會停下，而且

總會停在Spock旁邊。草原龍不喜歡高溫，但是Jim挨著熱乎乎的Spock，顯得那麼心滿意

足。

“你瞧，”他在Spock身邊嘟噥，“我比你晚來幾天，而你會孵化得慢些。我猜我們會同

時破殼。”


Spock聽著，沒有回答。


“你肯定會是頭陰沉的龍。綠龍。”Jim親熱地蹭了一下Spock，歡快地猜想，“有點古板

，噴個火都要按路數來。喂，Spock，我覺得你會有尖耳朵。你覺得呢？”


Spock還是安安靜靜，但是內心裡，為了實現Jim不合邏輯的猜想，他忽然發現自己很願意

長出一對尖耳朵。

“你覺得我會長成什麼樣子？”Jim繼續喋喋不休。“我想我會很帥氣！我的花紋會是金

色的，眼睛會是藍色的。天哪，我都快等不及了。”



“老天在上，Jim，你這麼挨著Spock會被烤熟的。給我回來！”McCoy——來自海濱的一

隻藍色蛋，Jim的朋友，遠遠怒吼起來。



“Bones，Bones，你可真愛操心。”Jim抱怨著，一邊慢吞吞軲轆回去。

“Spock，Jim死了。”



Spock預定孵化日期的前一天，McCoy來到他身邊，對Spock說。

他們圍在Jim身邊。不，不再是Jim了。只是一堆破碎的蛋殼。龍蛋堅固但也脆弱。他們會

因為種種原因生病，死亡。



但是不應該是Jim。



Spock沉默著看著蛋殼裡幾乎已經成形的幼龍。然後他想起了Jim曾經說過的話。是啊，

Jim猜得沒錯，他確實有非常漂亮的金色花紋。



但是他的眼睛合攏著。Spock再也無法知道那是不是一雙藍藍的眼睛了。

第二天Spock沒有孵化。第三天也沒有。


第四天早晨，當龍蛋們從睡夢中醒來，他們看到

的是一堆綠色的蛋殼碎片，混雜在金色的蛋殼碎片中。


沉默寡言的Spock死了，他的屍體就在Jim旁邊。是的，他是頭矯健的綠色火山龍，頭頸部

有整齊的黑色花紋。


而且，就像Jim盼望的那樣，他還有最最漂亮的尖耳朵。

“你們一定要好好報答我。”Khan蛋悶悶不樂地說。他是只細細條條的蛋，有一條圍巾狀

的紫色花紋。但是現在花紋被遮了大半，因為那上面正好糊了一大片泥巴——用來封住提

取蛋清的針孔，“等我出殼後，每個人都必須陪我玩破案遊戲。”


“哦，那當然。我們非常感謝你。”他身邊的McCoy蛋真心實意地說。“不過你看見Jim了

嗎？”


“他在那裡打滾。”Khan借助蛋高優勢遠遠望見了草叢中瘋狂玩耍的Jim，然後McCoy也看

見了。

“給我回來，Jim，你會過敏的！”他吼道。



“得了吧，Bones，我們都知道其實沒事兒。”Jim——不再是Jim蛋，而是頭真正的小龍

——大笑著回答，一邊跑遠。那頭尖耳朵綠龍Spock緊隨其後，偶爾有幾聲“這是不合邏

輯的”傳來。但是除了口頭上的抱怨之外，Spock倒沒有表現出其他不滿。



他們越跑越遠，看不見了。

“天天帶著那頭尖耳朵妖怪跑來跑去，還說自己是在‘探險’。”McCoy蛋餘怒未消，“

等著瞧吧，過幾天我就該破殼了。到時候Jim如果不聽話，我就用尾巴上的刺給他來一下

！他最好小心別被我抓住。”沉默了一會兒，他轉向Khan蛋，“你的蛋清簡直奇妙極了，

我是說，火山龍和草原龍的差別很大，但是你的蛋清竟然能把他們都救活。”


“這顯然是因為我出身特別。”Khan蛋非常樂於受到讚美。McCoy甚至錯覺他變得更長了

一點。


“嘿，這麼說傳言是真的？”McCoy壓低聲音，興沖沖地問。

“什麼傳言？”


“關於你的超能力呀！你是馬臉星來的外星龍蛋，所以有超能力，對不對？”


Khan蛋發出了一種介於噎住和嗆咳之間的聲音，“不！”他咆哮，“當然不是，用你貧乏

的腦瓜想想！我是只基因改造蛋，僅此而已。”


“哦……原來如此。”McCoy蛋歉然道，“那麼他們說你三百年都沒能破殼也是騙人的咯

？”

“%*#&*）%！”被戳中傷心處的Khan蛋忍不住發出了一聲龍語咒駡。然後他憤然轉身，向

洞窟深處滾去了。


“他們說他是高功能反社會蛋，一點都不假。”McCoy蛋自言自語。然後他一抬頭，看到

兜了一個大圈子剛剛跑回洞窟的Jim。這一來Khan蛋馬上被他拋到腦後了。


“站住，Jim，滾過來！你今天還沒做醫療檢查！”

番外的小尾巴——龍蛋們的超能力


Spock：來自瓦肯火山的綠龍，超能力是“瓦肯神經掐”，以及“我-就-是-不-微-笑”。


Kirk：來自草原的金色龍，超能力是“無意識作死”，以及“人人都愛我”。對Spock施
      放前者時可能引發瓦肯神經掐。有時候施放後者也會挨掐。


McCoy：來自海濱的藍龍，尾巴上有刺可以用作注射針頭。超能力是“治癒”，以及“我
       用吐槽憋死你”。


Khan：來自馬臉星不知名實驗室的基因改造龍蛋，超能力是“Khan血包治百病”，“我就
      是不出殼”以及“我怎麼又跑錯棚了”。第三個超能力連續施放時可能招來其伴生
      龍John。

The Story of Jim Egg and Spock Egg


Spock is an egg. A green, point-head dragon egg.


He is not a usual dragon egg. He is the son of a Volcano dragon. He came from

the lava flowing crater. Someone stole him out of the dragon cave when he was

half buried under the red-hot lava, and brought him to this cooler cave to

hatching.


Spock does not have any resentment of that. As his parents abandoned him no

longer after his birth, it makes no difference where he breaks his shell.

Certainly the lower temperature here is going to prolong his incubation time,

but everything seems to be tolerable with the companion of Jim.


Yes, Jim.


The most illogical dragon egg Spock considered in the world. A forest dragon,

his eggshell shines interesting deep golden color. He is all round and solid,

sprightly and a little bit hyperactive- Surprising? Dragon eggs truly can

move by themselves. Thought they cannot move fast, and won’t even bother to

do this commonly.


But Jim is different. He always strolls around in the cave, rumbling all over

the place. Eventually he will stop, and every time he stops beside Spock.

Forest dragons do not like high temperature, but Jim looked so satisfied

against Spock's warm shell.


“You see,” He murmuring beside Spock,” I came a few days later than you,

and you are growing a little bit slower than me, so I guess we will come out

together.”


Spock listened without saying anything.


“Definitely you will become wooden dragon. Green one,” Jim rubs against

Spock intimately, imaging happily, “a bit inflexible, like breathing fire on

an instruction. Hey, Spock, I think you’ll have pointy ears, what do you

think?”


Spock remains quiet, but inside, to fulfill Jim’s illogical conjecture, he

suddenly finds himself willing to have a pair of point ears.


“What do you think I will look like?” Jim keeps burbling, ”I suppose I'll

be really cool! I will have gold patterns and great blue eyes. Gosh, I can't

wait to see that.”


“Christ, Jim, you'll be toasted leaning on Spock like that. Get your ass

back here.” McCoy-a blue egg from the coast that appears to be one of Jim’s

friends- roars from far away.


“Too much caring, Bones.” Jim murmured as he starting to roll back

drawlingly.

“Jim's dead, Spock.”


Just one day before their hatching date, McCoy comes to his side and makes

this statement.


They are gathering around Jim, no, not Jim anymore. It's just a bunch of

broken shells. Dragon eggs are sturdy but fragile as well, they will get sick

and drop dead due to various reasons.


But it is not supposed to be Jim.


Spock looks at the merely grown baby dragon lies in the shell pieces,

recalling the words Jim once said.


Yes, Jim guessed right, he indeed has stunning golden patterns.


But his eyes are closing. Spock no longer can tell whether they would be blue

or not.

Spock doesn't come out the second day. Not does he the third day. On the

morning of the fourth day, when eggs waking up from their sleeping, what they

can see is the pieces of the broken green shells, mixes with those are golden.


The wordless Spock is dead, lying right beside Jim's side. And yes, he is

one strong green Volcano dragon, wearing black regular patterns on his head.

And just like what Jim had expected, he has a pair of the most beautiful

pointy ears.

The Story of Jim Egg and Spock Egg SPECIAL



“You are going to pay for this.” Egg Khan said morosely. He is one slim egg

with a scarf-shape purple pattern. But that is hidden under a mess of mud

now- to cover the pinhole in extraction of his egg white. ”Everyone of you

are going to play the detective game with me, after my hatching. ”


“Oh, surely. We really appreciate you.” By his side, egg McCoy thanked him

sincerely and goes, ”but, have you seen Jim?”


“He's rolling out there.” With the advantage of his height, Khan located

Jim playing crazily in the grass far away, and then McCoy sees him too.


“Come back, Jim, you'll get allergy!” He shouts.


“Save it, Bones, we all know that’s not a problem at all,” Jim- not an egg

anymore, but a true young dragon- blast out laughing when answering him, and

then running away. The green pointy-eared dragon stick to him, occasionally

he will say ‘This is illogic’, but there is no other discontent besides the

rarely complain.


They are running far away, finally disappeared in sight.


“Carrying that pointy-eared hobgoblin running all the way around and calling

that ADVANTURE-” McCoy says sharply, “We'll see, I'll be out in a few days

and by that time, if Jim still can’t cooperate well, I’ll be pleased to

stab him with the prick on my tail! He’d better watch out not to be caught.”


There comes a brief silence, and then he turns to Khan, ”Your egg white is

wonderful, I mean, there is a huge difference between volcano dragon and

forest dragon, but your egg white saved both of them. ”


“Apparently thanks to my special descent. ” Khan is very glad to be

praised. McCoy even has this delusion that he seemed to growing a little bit

longer.


“Hey, so, that's true?” McCoy keeps his voice down, asking excitedly.


“What's true?’


“Your superpower! That you have all this abilities because you actually is

an alien egg which came from the Horse-Face Planet, is that true?”


Khan makes this noise between being choked and coughing, ”NO!” He yells, “

Of cause NOT, use that thing on your neck! I was just genetically engineered,

that's all. ”


“Oh…I see.” McCoy says regretly, ”So it's also not true that they say

you can't get out for three-hundred years?”


“asdfghhjkl!” Hitten right on the heart, Khan bursting out some curses with

Draconic. He turns angrily, rolling back to the deep in the cave.


“No wonder they all say that he's a high-functioning sociopath egg,” McCoy

speaks to himself. Then he looks up and catches Jim just arriving after a

long trip, and all the thoughts about Khan simply slip out of his mind.


“Freeze, Jim, get back! You haven't done your medical examination yet!”
