我自己也寫了落落長的一篇，僅供參考。
我是建議大家都自己寫，讓BBC能集結台灣人不同的意見。
台灣是個民主自由的國家，我們跟中國是不一樣的。
希望大家都能盡一份力為我們的運動員發聲。

Your report on Taiwan taekwondo athlete is inaccurate and distorts
the fact. It is really disappointing that BBC releases distorted news
report like this: Taiwan taekwondo athlete in Asian Games sock sensor
row (http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/world-asia-pacific-11775465)

The above report says that the Taiwanese taekondo athlete intentionally
added a sensor in her socks. It is FAR FROM THE FACT.

The fact is, during the pre-match inspection, Yang was told by the
officials that her sensors didn't function well and was asked to change
her socks into another one, which is the former model of the original one.

Yang accepted the request, put on newly-offered pair of socks, and PASSED
THE PRE-MATCH INSPECTION.

However, when Yang was leading her opponent by 9 points, a Chinese official
Zhao Lei suddenly interrupted the match, saying that Yang's socks didn’t
meet the standard. The referee accepted Zhao Lei's protest and announced
that Yang was disqualified.

How could the referee suddenly disqualify Yang AFTER SHE HAD PASSED THE
PRE-MATCH INSPECTION? In the later press conference, the Chinese officials
refused to discuss the reason and released a completely distorted
announcement.

Even in the worst case, according to the rule of taekwondo, those who wear
unqualified protective gears will be minus one point in the match. Why
was Yang directly disqualified? Yang did nothing but follow the
instructions of the Asian Games officials. However, she was suddenly
disqualified—Even though she is totally innocent. That's why the Taiwan
official considers the match "UNFAIR."

Please notice that China is a country that deprives its citizens of the
freedom of speech and always distorts the facts. I strongly urge you, as
a world-renowned company of journalism, correct your inaccurate and unfair
news report on the issue.
