Aldridge hurt, will miss Sunday's game

For those of you relishing the return of Brandon Roy to the Trail Blazers'
lineup Friday night, cover your eyes: the other half of the team's
star-studded duo is now hurt.

LaMarcus Aldridge awoke Saturday morning with a throbbing pain so bad in his
right pinky toe that he underwent X-rays Saturday morning. The results were
negative, but Aldridge missed Saturday's practice and will miss Sunday's
exhibition game at Sacramento.

Blazers coach Nate McMillan even listed Aldridge as doubtful for Wednesday's
matchup against Seattle at the Rose Garden.

"Someone stepped on his foot (Friday) night and he woke up (Saturday) morning
and it was pretty painful," McMillan said. "He didn't feel it until
(Saturday) morning ... We'll have to wait and see how long he'll be out."

Just as it appeared the Blazers would get some injury relief in the return of
Roy -- who missed the team's first three preseason games with a sore left
heel -- another setback has stricken the injury-riddled roster.

Aldridge's name will be added to an extensive list of Blazers -- Greg Oden,
Darius Miles, Josh McRoberts, James Jones, Steve Blake and Roy -- who have
missed preseason games with varying degrees of injuries. The Blazers have
sailed through the setbacks with a 3-1 preseason record, but at some point
the mounting injuries figure to catch up with the young team.

"I thought we had something to build off of," McMillan said about Friday's
101-77 victory over the Kings. "And then another injury pops up. You have to
just keep finding ways to fill the spots. If there's a time for it to happen,
now's the time."

If there was any good news Saturday it's that Roy awoke Saturday with no pain
in his sore left heel. Roy will not play Sunday, to give his heel a little
more rest, but likely will return Wednesday against Seattle.

Aldridge腳指受傷，今天的練習和明天的熱身賽都不能上場，
他照過X光後的結果呈現陰性，但由於右腳小指會疼痛所以球隊先讓他休息，
明天的比賽他確定不能上場而星期四對超音速的比賽則還在觀望中。

另外，Roy昨天比賽完後之前受傷的地方已經不痛了，
但下一場熱身賽仍不會上，而下下場對超音速他應該會上場。
