Ghost Ride the Whip! (A Bay Area hip hop term which essentially means rolling
with your car in drive, preferably in an open area (parking lot etc.) with
the sounds turned up, opening the doors and getting out and dancing beside
the car or on the hood) ..... Without a GM in place, and no one behind the
wheel, the Trailblazers are doing the NBA version of ghost riding the whip.
They were involved in 6 draft day deals and became even younger adding 4
first rounders. In the course of the past 6 months, the team has managed to
trade away all three of their first round picks from 2004, and drafted over
their top (6th) pick of 2005 (Webster) with Brandon Roy, while the two
biggest cancers (Miles and Randolph) continue to collect outrageous
contracts. They over thought themselves with the whole 4 for 2 and 7 for 6
swaps, when taking Roy at 4 and Aldridge at 7 would have netted the same
results. Aldridge is a solid offensive player, but lacks the toughness to
live up to the hype. But give them credit for grabbing a steal in the late
first round in point guard Sergio Rodriguez for cash and a nice future
prospect in Freeland. And on the bright side, this team will be in prime
position next year for the Greg Oden sweepstakes.
Grade:B
不過傳聞中這家網站有幾個作者很討厭Aldridge XD
他們還曾把Aldridge放到第十順位左右。
不過青菜蘿蔔各有喜好,這也是很正常的XD
