Ime Udoka - F - Trail Blazers
In one of the feel-good stories of the year in the NBA, forward Ime Udoka has
made the Blazers opening-day roster.
He played his college ball in Portland and was a last-minute invitee to
training, only getting a call after Aaron Miles failed a physical. His father
died on Oct. 17, the same day he was set to make his debut with the Blazers,
and he then learned that he made the team the same day he attended his
father's funeral. He averaged 13.5 points, 3.0 rebounds and 2.8 assists in
four preseason games and will see time at small forward and shooting guard
