Portland Native, Aaron Miles, Invited to Training Camp
Aaron Miles has been invited to training camp, pending the outcome of a
physical. Miles, 23, will be with the team when it opens training camp
Tuesday, Oct. 3, at the Trail Blazers Practice Facility in Tualatin, Ore.
A Portland native and Jefferson High School graduate, Miles spent four
seasons at the University of Kansas, where he currently stands as the school’
s all-time leader in assists with 954. The 6-1, 185-pound Miles ended his
career at KU No. 8 on the NCAA Division I all-time assists ledger.
Miles appeared in 19 games as a rookie with the Golden State Warriors last
season, where he averaged 0.8 points, 0.7 rebounds and 1.3 assists in 6.2
minutes.
With the addition of Miles, the Trail Blazers roster now stands at 14.
