Saturday 13th and Sunday 14th October 2001
We flew to Guernsey with Atomic Kitten to do a show. We were put up in this
beautiful hotel and every one of us (and each of the Kittens) had a suite of
their own! We were running in and out of each others rooms to see who had the
biggest room and they were so amazing. Absolutely MASSIVE! Antony had the
biggest room and it was almost like a flat as he had his own kitchen, living
room, bathroom and four poster bed. Dunc and Simon's rooms looked the nicest
though!
We had a gig in the evening, where we performed with the Kittens. It was a
great gig, more like a party really - and that's the way we like it.
That night we all got back to the hotel and there was an 18th birthday party
going on and in another room there was a wedding reception and we got invited
into the wedding reception! We all got up with the live band and started
singing and Lee sang 'Sorry Seems To Be The Hardest Word' by Elton John.
I sang 'Mustang Sally', and I sang 'Words' with Jenny from the Kittens. We
had a really good giggle. And then Lee and Anthony sang 'Don't Let The Sun Go
Down On Me' and the whole wedding reception was cheering. It was just great!
We flew back from Guernsey on the Sunday afternoon where we went straight from
the airport to the recording studios in Stanley Gardens where we recorded
'Something's Coming' from 'Westside Story' for the Millennium Show in Cardiff
. We spent the whole day and night in the recording studio so we were all
pretty tired on Sunday!
