Andrew Lloyd Webber and Ben Elton's new show The Beautiful Game, opening at
the Cambridge Theatre on 26 September 2000.
The Original London Cast Recording of The Beautiful Game is due for release
on 22 November. The first Beautiful Game single "Our Kind of Love", will now
be released at the later date of 2 October. Two editions will be released,
containing various versions / mixes, the show's title track and overture,
and a CD-ROM video of the song.
The first single from The Beautiful Game, "Our Kind Of Love" sung by cast
member Hannah Waddingham, will be released in the UK on Monday 25 September.
The show's title number. "Our Kind Of Love" incorporates music from "The Heart
Is Slow To Learn", written for the now abandoned Phantom sequel, and performed
at the Royal Albert Hall Celebration concert by Kiri Te Kanawa.
