印尼名將陶菲克及法國女將皮紅艷兩人在3月30日分別贏得印度黃金大獎賽的單打冠軍,
陶菲克是繼去年澳門公開賽之後, 首次贏得比賽冠軍, 而皮紅艷則是隔了快三年才重新
親吻冠軍獎牌.
以下是陶菲克在贏得冠軍之後, 在旅館裡寫下他贏得冠軍的心情, 雖然一方面為自己
的成功感到高興, 另一方面也為印尼遭受洪水之苦的同胞感到難過.

It is a marvelous day for me today. Even though it'll be ending soon, it was
a positive day for me.
I felt it was a good game, not as good as my performance in the semifinals,
but good nevertheless. Though i know, i could and am able to do better.
Thanks for the cheers guys, Terima kasih banyak, hope this is not just a
moment, but a sign for many similar moments to come.
For me, it is much more important in how we try to maintain the best in each
of our lives, and for me personally, in my game. I often got to thinking,
that sometimes, the most wonderful moment to a person comes as another person
is experiencing sorrow. I offer my condolences and prayers to my fellow
Indonesians who has been the victims of floods in Situ Gintung. I humbly
offer what may be a little piece of happiness to all of you, for the win i
have achieved in India. Though i know, it won't be able to fully compensate
the lost of your loved ones, and all that you have work hard to achieve, for
the moment this is what i am able to offer, a small happiness and a sense of
pride for all Indonesians.
Sorry, a bit off topic for all of you non-Indonesians, but just need to get
it off my chest after seeing countless reports of the tragedy in Situ
Gintung, which is not very far from where i live, a short 30 minutes drive,
if traffic permitting.
Back to the topic again,
Ron, i am trully sorry. Was swamped by the press and fans. Though, i am
scheduled to have an appearance at the opening of CCI Badminton Complex &
Yonex Proshop in Mumbai. Hope it'll be as fun as it was here, heard so many
tales about the city from family and friends, about it. Hopefully it'll be
just as they've told me.

印尼堤壩崩潰死亡人數上升至90多

印度尼西亞官員說，現在已知有90多人在首都雅加達的堤壩崩潰中死亡，仍然有一百多人
失蹤。
星期五凌晨，雅加達郊區一座修建了八十年之久的、高十米的堤壩崩潰，淹沒大面積房屋
。
數百名救援工作者目前仍然在從廢墟中搜尋倖存者或死難者。
印尼官員說，搜尋工作將持續一星期。
這個堤壩位於雅加達郊區唐格朗地區，是雅加達的旅遊熱點之一。
據報，堤壩崩潰時洪水泛濫，約400座房屋被淹沒。 許多仍在睡眠中的居民因此遇難。
印尼當局把這一災難事故歸咎於非同尋常的暴雨，但憤怒的當地居民說，政府知道這一年
久失修的堤壩需要維修。
2007年，雅加達曾發生嚴重水災，造成50人多死亡。
