〈MLB〉紅襪灑錢 107M搞定Drew、Lugo

2006年下半季崩盤導致競爭季後賽失利的紅襪，今天(6日)以大手筆之姿一口氣花了
1億700萬美元找來外野手J. D. Drew與Julio Lugo，使得攻擊火力與速度明顯提升。
Drew雖然於2004年與道奇簽下5年5500萬美元，但11月卻根據其中的逃脫條款而逕行
宣布成為自由球員，讓尚有3年約的道奇感到錯愕。2006年Drew繳出2成83打擊率、20
支全壘打、100分打點成績。這是他繼2004年以來第2次單季出賽超過145場比賽。
Drew生涯先後待過紅雀、勇士、道奇，9年總成績為2成86、全壘打162支、打點509分
、上壘率3成93、長打率5成12。
這次，紅襪擺出5年7000萬美元的肥約，Drew自然是欣然接受。
Lugo於2006年下半季離開魔鬼魚來到道奇，在Rafael Furcal與Jeff Kent的阻擋下淪
為板凳，離開道奇是必然的結果；整季出賽122場打擊率2成78、全壘打12支、打點37
分、盜壘24次、上壘率3成41、長打率4成21；生涯7年待過太空人、魔鬼魚、道奇，
打擊率2成77、全壘打68支、打點336分、盜壘139次。
以最近2年平均年薪400萬美元的情況來看，這次紅襪提供4年3600萬美元、平均900萬
薪資顯然也是高估的做法。
這2人的到來自然對紅襪的原有陣容以及加入自由市場的球員造成衝擊。外野部分，
自由球員Trot Nixon勢將離隊，而原本可成固定先發的Wily Mo Pena也地位不保，E
ric Hisnke當然就更無表現空間，除非Manny Ramirez最終被紅襪交易出去。
Lugo的簽約使得Alex Gonzalez 離隊後空缺的游擊防區得以填補，紅襪前陣子續簽A
lex Cora是確保二壘的做法，如果農場新秀Dustin Pedroia達到球隊預期將接下二壘
，不然就由Cora接任。
打線方面，Ramirez若留在波士頓，Ramirez、David Ortiz、Drew的打線勢將成為球
隊豪取分數的利器；而Lugo則將擔任前位棒次，以速度提升破壞力。
