主持人問Oprah說，
Oprah能夠訪問這麼多各式各樣的人，
是不是有什麼秘密呢？

Oprah說她不知道有什麼秘密，
但她知道人都是想被聆聽、被認可的，
也都關心自己所呈現出來的會被如何解讀與評價。

Oprah舉了一個與Bee有關的小趣事當例子。

2008年在Oprah節目上，
在Bee完成了一個很棒的Bee式演出後，
廣告期間Bee走到Oprah身邊，
小小聲的問了Oprah：
Was that OK?

就算是像Bee這樣的巨星，
也會擔心自己的表現如何。

Oprah認為因為了解這點，
所以她能很順利的訪問各式各樣的人物。


“I don’t know if there is a secret, but I do know that there is a
commonality in the human experience,” she said. “We all want to be heard.
Over the years, no matter who you are interviewing and how famous they are,
at the end of the day I remember in 2008 Beyonce was on and she had just been
performing as only Beyonce can and during the commercial break she leaned
over and whispered  “Was that OK?” and I just thought “Wow, even Beyonce!”
. Whether you are talking to someone who is going through a crisis or has had
a difficulty or been in a scandal, the commonality of the human experience is
that we all want to know that we’re OK, we want to be validated and we want
to be heard and to know that what we said meant something. I have always
understood that and that’s why it has always been easy to talk to anybody
and everybody.”
