BLUR GUITARIST QUITS?
BLUR guitarist GRAHAM COXON has left the group, according to tabloid reports.
In recent months, Blur have been writing and recording their new album in Londo
n and Morocco.
According to today's The Mirror newspaper (August 29), tensions within the band
between him and singer Damon Albarn have led to a series of rows, and Coxon wa
lking out.
However, the band's management are stressing that Coxon is not in the studio be
cause he is working on a solo album. A management representative told the paper
: "There has been no bust-up. Graham isn't in the studio with Blur. He is putt
ing the finishing touches to his own album which is out in October."
