Do you only answer selected e-mails? I wondered because I asked if the
rest of the band (besides Damon) were anti-war and if he/you were coming

ANSWER
Part 2 (cont) Perhaps if we'd all joined the Conservative party instead,
we could have just voted her away at the next conference, but student
politics seems to thrive on confrontation just as much as adult politics.
I think every party should have to have on page one of their manifesto
an answer to the question "Under what circumstances would you take this
country into war?". Then we could vote with our conciences.

ANSWER
Part 1 I'm not a pacifist, if that's what you mean by anti-war - I'm for
holding your nerve in situations like this. I personally don't think
demonstrations achieve very much. I spent my student days screaming "Maggie
Maggie Maggie Out Out Out" outside Downing Street, but in the end it was
the Conservatives that got her out.
