VIDEO FILLED WITH 'RADAR' STARS
This is 'Music': Blur
The video for the new BLUR single 'MUSIC IS MY RADAR' is now exclusively
available on nme.com.
The video is directed by relatively new director Don Cameron, and is set in
a television studio where the band members are guests. When the show goes to
a commercial break, costumed dancers invade the stage area and dance to the
Blur single.
The choreography for the video was done by Blanca Li, who also worked on the
choreography for the Daft Punk video 'Around The World'.

Blur fans will also soon be able to download previously unheard
collaborations between the band, Massive Attack, Cornelius and others on
a new Blur radio Internet site.
The band have been putting the finishing touches on a new website,
www.blur-radio.com, which is set to launch on October 12.
Speaking about the project, guitarist Graham Coxon told nme.com:
"You can log on and there's loads of weird kind of songs, things that aren't
so well-known, and listen to gigs and listen to interviews.
"There's just going to be lots of things, like remixes we've done for other
people and stuff related to us. There's some Cornelius remixes and stuff
we did with Massive Attack, and weird things that people probably don't
really know about."
Coxon and Blur bassist Alex James will also each host one-hour segments on
the site.
Finally, nme.com are constructing a Blur microsite to coincide with the
release of the band's greatest hits compilation, 'Blur: The Best Of',
on October 30 through Food. The site will be active from October 9,
and will feature archive reviews, news and features, e-cards, promotional
videos and a webcast of the band's 'Singles Night' show at London Alexandra
Palace, where the band performed each of their singles in chronological
order.

BLUR LAUNCH RADIO STATION
Blur will launch their own radio station this month to accompany the imminent best of, whose cover is exclusively revealed (left).
blur-radio.com will be launched on October 12, featuring a cornucopia of Blur material, both visual and audio, and a documentary tracing their career.
Both Graham Coxon and Alex James have also contributed to 'The Weird and Wonderful World of Blur', which will see both members picking b-sides, rarities, collaborations, solo tracks, remixes, and previously unheard demo's.
By October 28th, a full 12 hour schedule of shows will be available online, including archives of live shows, including last December's 'Singles Night', a 1994 gig at the Alexandra Palace and the band's only show of 2000, as part of Scott Walker's Meltdown.

The album cover art for the best of, out on October 30th, was painted by Julian Opie, an English artist, who is currently exhibiting at both Tate Modern and Tate Britain, with the exhibitions 'Between Cinema And A Hard Place' and 'New British Art 2000: Intelligence' respectively
Further details will of the radio project will be unveiled following Blur's appearance on Top Of The Pops Plus on October 8th, between 12 - 1pm.
