Lucky Boyz will make ￡1m each on reunion tour

Boyzone have sparked a ￡5million bidding war between two leading record compa
nies over their comeback album and tour.

The boys will decide within weeks between their former label, Universal, and S
ony/BMG - and they are set to earn a massive ￡1million each from the deal.

Stephen Gately told us about the reunion plans at the VIP performance of Equus
, saying: "I haven't signed on the dotted line yet, but there are offers on th
e table. We'd love to do it, but it's hard to find time for five people.

"We met in Dublin last month and again in London for a p**s up and to discuss
our reunion. Both meetings went very well and for the first time I think all f
ive members are on the same page. It's a matter of finding the right time and
the right deal."

In December it was revealed how Stephen, Shane Lynch, Mikey Graham, Keith Duff
y and Ronan Keating are planning a Take That style TV documentary to launch th
eir comeback.

Unlike the new Take That, however, Boyzone will be able to boast a full origin
al line-up.

Keating has been reluctant to include himself in a reunion because of his succ
essful solo career - until now.

A source told us: "Ronan was the final stumbling block, but he is definitely o
n board now. After seeing how successful the Take That comeback has been he ag
reed to talk to the boys about a reunion. When they met in Dublin last month i
t was like they'd never been away and it made Ronan decide 100 per cent he was
 on board."

The Boyz split in 1999 after lead singer Keating quit to go it alone. Since th
en Shane has appeared in reality shows, Mikey has been writing music, Keith ac
ted in Coronation Street and Stephen has starred in West End musicals and in I
TV's Dancing On Ice.

A music business insider said: "There is a market for boyband comebacks."

雖然目前還沒有具體的東西出來,但是感覺boyzone復合的可能性越來越高

Former BOYZONE star RONAN KEATING has dismissed reports the Irish pop group
are on the verge of reforming, after speculation of a TAKE THAT-style reunion
tour surfaced last month (FEB07).
It was reported Keating had agreed to join up with former band members
STEPHEN GATELY, KEITH DUFFY, MIKEY GRAHAM and SHANE LYNCH in a bid to match
the success of recently reformed boy band Take That.
Keating insists the reports are false because he is currently focusing on his
solo career, but he could be persuaded to do a short tour with his former
band in the future.
He says, "All that speculation in the papers that we've done a deal for
millions is absolute rubbish.
"I'm making a new record and I can't let anything get in the way of that, but
if we got the right deal over a short period and if it fits in between now
and my next album coming out, I'd love to do it.
"I'd love to do it for the other (Boyzone) guys as well because I know that
I've been the one holding it up."
