BOYZONE STAYING TOGETHER, SAYS RONAN

Boyzone kept their fans waiting to the very last moments of their latest live
tour before delivering a "We stay together" message.

The Irish superstars' army of young followers looked on fearfully as lead
singer Ronan Keating strolled grim-faced to the centre stage of the Point Theatre
in their home city of Dublin at the end of a gig shown live on Sky One TV.

They gasped as Keating said: "Myself and the lads have something to say." But
he quickly added: "I am sure we will all see you later this year for another
Boyzone show."

The singer said: "Thank you so much for the last six years - it's been
unbelievable. But we are not going anywhere - we are not going anywhere."

Against a tumult of high-pitched cheering, Keating went on: "We have all got
some stuff to do on our own for a while, but, believe me Boyzone is stronger
than it's ever been before."
