Pop idol Ronan Keating has splashed out ?4,000 for diamond shoes for his wife,
Yvonne!
The former Boyzone frontman was among the galaxy of stars who attended a huge
charity bash hosted by Elton John when he fell for the jewelled shoes.
The singer outbid everyone else at the auction for the spectacular shoes which
boasts an incredible 42 diamonds.
The fantasy slippers were created by top Italian designer, Salvatore Ferregamo.
Guests at the bash revealed that former model, Yvonne, was bowled over by the
dazzling gesture from her husband.
"Well, what do you get for the wife who has everything?" gushed one guest.
"It was an incredibly romantic gift and it was all in aid of a good charity"
Ronan and Yvonne were among the hundreds of stars who splashed out ?,000 per
head to attend Elton's third annual party in aid of the Elton John Aids
Foundation.
Keating and his wife shared a table with several other Irish party people
including Westlife boss Louis Walsh and Bob Geldof.
Security on the event was tight as the whole party was captured on camera by OK
magazine. They bought the exclusive rights - and that money is going to the
charity too.
