Schalke striker Ailton admits that he is considering quitting the club in
order to move to Greek giants Olympiakos.
德國 Schalke 的巴西前鋒 Ailton 表示今年賽季結束後他可能會離隊加盟希臘勁旅

The 31-year-old joined Schalke on a free transfer last summer after helping
Werder Bremen to win the German double, but despite scoring 14 goals this
season, has failed to settle at his new club.

Schalke coach Ralf Rangnick is unhappy about Ailton's inability to provide
defensive cover when needed and managing director Rudi Assauer has recently
hinted that he is ready to sell the pacey forward, who is tied to the Arena
AufSchalke until 2006.

''That would be a very interesting option. I am a bit tired about German
football and this would be a new challenge as the club has not only a big
tradition, but also a player like Rivaldo,'' Ailton told Kicker.

joined them back then, but Bremen didn’t want me to leave.

''Now I have to fully focus on the end of the season as we have two very
important games and then I will think about my future. I do have a contract

With an exit seemingly on the cards, Ailton has left his current employers
in no doubt that he will not be warming the bench next season.

''I will have to start thinking about my future if the club are planning to
sign a striker,'' he told Bild.

''One thing is for sure - I am not going to stay here to sit on the bench.''

Schalke have been strongly linked with a move for Chelsea hit-man Mikael
Forssell - a target for both Blackburn and Birmingham.

另外兩支對於這位芬蘭前鋒有興趣的還有 Blackburn 以及 Birmingham.
