Argentinian coach Daniel Passarella announced that he will take Corinthians
goalkeeper Fabio Costa to court over comments he made against him.
Costa said a few days ago that Passarella acted like a wolf in sheep's clothing
after dropping him from the side.
"Passarella acted with me as a wolf dressed as a sheep," said Costa.
"The day that he announced that he wasn't going to need me in the team we had
breakfast together, then we went to the training session together but he then
announced that he wasn't going to consider me in the team after the training
session.
"He didn't say it to me at any moment, he did it through the press."
Passarella had dropped Costa from the team, before he was fired by the
officials of Corinthians, because he said that the keeper did not have the
profile of goalkeeper that he needed at Corinthians.
But now that Costa has returned to Corinthians and the coach has heard what
he said about him he has decided to take him to court.
"Fabio Costa is going to have to deal with my lawyers because of what he said
about me," announced Passarella, who has returned to Argentina and from there
is going to follow how his case against Corinthians continues.
The coach has also claimed $1.4 million in damages for being fired from
Corinthians.
