Klinsmann satisfied with German passion against Brazil

Coach Jurgen Klinsmann said Germany matched Brazil stride for stride despite
losing 3-2 to the world champions on Saturday.
雖然輸給巴西，但德國教練 Klinsmann 對於子弟兵在比賽中一步一腳印的紮實表現感

The host nation twice came back to equalise in the first half but Adriano's
second goal of the game in the 76th minute proved enough to send Brazil
through to Wednesday's FIFA Confederations Cup final against Argentina or
Mexico.

"We accomplished what we set out to do, to play with a lot of energy and
passion and to push the ball forward with elan," Klinsmann told reporters.

"What was so pleasing was the way our team kept coming back.

They deserve a huge compliment for that. It's too bad it wasn't quite enough.

"We knew it was going to be a difficult task but we nevertheless succeeded
in matching up against them.

"Everyone knows Brazil are a top team. They're always able to shift up a gear
and push the throttle when they need to. We were able to keep up with them."

Germany drew with Brazil in a friendly last year in what was Klinsmann's
second match in charge.

"We wanted to take a step forward against Brazil, to beat them after the draw
in Berlin last September," the coach said.
「我們希望能在面對巴西時有更多的進步，特別是在去年九月踢平他們之後。」
"But in general we're satisfied with the performance and the way the team
presented itself. Congratulations to Brazil for reaching the final."

Germany now meet Argentina or Mexico in the third-fourth place play-off in
Leipzig on Wednesday.
