你要期望看不到的黑桃還是看得到的紅心?

[A] East is usually short in hearts. Often hir shape is 4-1-5-3 or 4-1-6-2.
Most people rebids 2N with 4-3-4-2 or 4-2-4-3, and will likely rebid 3H
with 4-3-6-0 or 4-3-5-1; so the only time you lose on the heart lead is
when East has precisely 4-2-5-2 and West five hearts.
[B] Partner could have preempted with 2S and did not overcall 1S, this is a
clue which points to less than overwhelming strength in spades. If you
have K93 or QT4 in spades you might lead it anyway, but with two small,
it is too much to ask partner to produce winning spades.
[C] As in [A] we see that the strong east hand usually has some strength in
clubs, and the weaker west hand would often have a club guard as well.
So I would be leery of leading a club even if it is the `unbid suit'.

唯一從頭到尾都沒被提到的花色----方塊, 才是這牌唯一有機會打垮合約的首引. :)
首引黑桃或紅心送小菜 (不受傷但損失時效). :)
首引梅花送大菜 (既受傷又損失時效). :)

North has xx Kxxxx KTx QJx, the likelihood of partner having precisely
QJxx or QJxxx of diamonds and a side entry is very low. With most of
the good combinations under consideration, the strong east hand might
have rebid 2N instead of 1S.

首引之後看到夢家的牌, 心裡暗叫不妙. Passell 第一圈從桌上跟 C7...... 什麼?!
可惡的 Passell 居然第一磴牌就在順橋? 心裡更是涼了大半截. :(
或許有人會說: 就算首引 CQ, 東西方應該也只有十磴牌, 很不容易吃到第十一磴呀.
哎, 這就別提了. 沒聽過什麼叫做 "鬆散的防禦" 嗎? :)

是何等可怕的狠角色? 他主打的時候當然全部打對. 我們在防禦的時候送他兩個超磴,
Passell 是一磴也不肯還給我們的.
