After Ride's acrimonious split in 1996, Bell formed a trad-rock aggregation
called Hurricane #1, releasing two records to tepid critical and public re-
sponse before accepting an offer he couldn't refuse.
”I believe that Oasis was the best band of the '90s,”he enthuses about the
group for which he's played bass for two years.”From the first time[Alan
McGee played] me the demo of ’Life Forever,’I was totally hooked. I must have
seen them 20 times or more, starting with the first London show at the Power-
haus in December '93. I saw them enough in the early days to build up an ac-
quaintance with Noel and Liam; we were labelmates and often saw each other a-
round... it's unbelievable to have a third chance in rock' n' roll, especially
to have joined a band I love so much. It's a really good laugh, but there is an
added chaos factor that comes with being in Oasis－just when you think every-
thing's cool, an argument breaks out and one of them walks......”
看到Andy這樣說，雖然覺得不可思議，但起碼他加入Oasis不是為了賺easy money，
他說他原本就非常喜歡Oasis了，姑且信之....
”If you can't beat 'em, join 'em”......真讓人心痛:p
