Pulp Work with Scott Walker on New Album
That's not hardcore
Ryan Dombal reports:
Dotmusic recently reported that "legendary avant-garde crooner" Scott Walker
^^^^^^^^^^^ what is this?
is involved with the production of the latest Pulp album.
Walker is to, hopefully, get the album off of the ground after a few delays
and add his influence to the new material. The same report states that
Pulp have abadoned some of the songs that had originally been intended
for release on the record. They're still in the studio, working dilligently,
we're sure.
On the optimistic side of things, the official Pulp site recently reported
that "things are moving on." The band has recorded some backing vocals
for three tracks, "Weeds," "Sunrise," and "Wicker Man"
with the Swingle Singers who were featured at this year's Meltdown Fesitval.
^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^ addicted with them?
Frontman Jarvis Cocker and bassist Steven Mackey are also working
on a remix for "Sunrise."
